Beleaguered puppy, homeless and abused, terribly discriminated against because of his breed.   Forlorn images of the poor pup capture one’s heart as he lives through terrible abuse, starvation, and loneliness until he comes upon a family that may give just him the chance for a real home.  Beautifully done short story!
