THE BOOK FAIR

Rabbi Lau presents a cogent, fascinating, and detailed history of the life of Jeremiah, the Prophet.   The non-fiction book depicts Jeremiah’s struggles and triumphs as he prophesized for three kings and lived under five.  Jeremiah witnesses the history of Israel and Judah from the glorious rise of Josiah, to the disastrous fall of Zedekiah, the tragic exile from Judah, and all the events in between.

Jeremiah blossoms with praise, suffers under scorn, is both loved and hated, applauded and ridiculed, is set upon and imprisoned as his prophesies come to pass.  The story of Jeremiah, as interesting as any novel, reads quickly, smoothly, and is highly informative.

Rabbi Lau avails readers with additional, historical background information of events throughout the book.  The Rabbi  heads different organizations and teaches in Israel.
