Review:
Gemma Craig, thirty-seven years old and single, is a professional, personal chef who gave up on finding the right guy, way back when. Gemma cooks for her different clients, managing their idiosyncrasies to their specified diets, with patience and humor.
After a particularly grueling day, Gemma decides on a night out on the town. At a local club, Gemma meets Mack. After a night together, Gemma wakes up to find Mack gone.
Gemma thinks of Mack often but does not know how to locate him. She goes on about her business dealing with fussy clients, except for Mr. Tuesday, who is always pleasant, thoughtful and loves her cooking.
Some weeks later, Gemma realizes she feels nauseous in the mornings. More than ever Gemma wishes to find Mack, with whom she felt a special connection.
