THE BOOK FAIR

Review:

Maggie Wilson suffers a brutal attack in her home at the hands of an intruder.  She accuses her college sweetheart, and husband, Nate Duke, of the assault, but is later, unsure.  Maggie struggles to remember what happened that night.  Was it Nate, or someone else?  The book alternates between past and present, before and after the attack.

A beautifully written, mysterious, suspenseful, engaging novel, worded in terse, succinct prose with a well defined plot, and well defined characters.  Recommended.
